16. FEELING GOOD
Feeling Good has everything it takes to be a future Grand Prix horse. Equipped with an excellent jumping technique and a beautiful bascule, this athletic mare will take her rider right to the top and beyond. When we were making the video, this powerfully built horse demonstrated outstanding technical skills over jumps of all heights, and even the highest of them don’t measure up to this mare’s seemingly unlimited scope. Feeling Good is such a clever and careful jumper that she’s a pleasure to watch. She has the perfect temperament and mind-set to be a top future prospect.
Initially used as a brood mare, Feeling Good demonstrated even as a four year old that she’s a high quality young horse that performs consistently at shows. She has won classes for four year old show jumpers in Belgium as well as the championship qualification and, as a five year old, she won five young horse classes. Now she has wins and placings in 1.30m young horse classes. Feeling Good is currently being prepared for the international youngster tour and she has a very bright future ahead of her.
Feeling Good unites fantastic jumping ability with unconditional willingness and an international calibre pedigree.
The six year old sport horse was sired by legendary Belgian stallion Nabab de Reve. He proved his immense talent as a top international show jumper with Philippe le Jeune. His world-famous offspring include Vigo d’Arsouilles (Philippe Lejeune), Glock’s London (Gerco Schörder), Valentina van’t Heike (Jos Lansink), Ensor de Litrange Lxii (Lorenzo de Luca), Walnut de Muze (Harrie Smolders) and the stallion Kashmir van’t Schuttershof (Philippe Lejune). The French side of the pedigree with Quidam de Revel is unique, and the dam’s side boasts top thoroughbred stallions Furioso xx, L'Avenir xx and Rantzau xx.
Feeling Good’s dam Nikky also produced the international sport horses Inchala van de Doornhag (Julien Champailler) and J & B van de Doornhaag (Clint Sulmino). Nikky’s sire is Lys de Darmen, a stallion famous in show jumping for the impressive number of top competition horses in his first and second-generation offspring. They include Oberon (Rodrigo Pessoa), Prima Donna (Gregoire Oberson), Medusa (Jeroen Dubbeldam), Qualité (Robert Whitaker), Nicos Landelijke Rijhoeve (Ian Millar) and Olympic (Gerfried Puck). The pedigree also includes the performance genes of Fier de Lui, a stallion that like Cor de la Bryère was sired by top thoroughbred Rantzau xx.
With this horse you won’t just feel good, you’ll feel ecstatic!
