2. BE MY BABY
… You know I will adore you’til eternity.”
This beautiful and athletic mare is built for performance. Be My Baby has wonderfully elastic movements, she’s light-footed and she’s a very dynamic mover. What’s more, she’s very quick-thinking and responsive over jumps, has an amazing technique and masses of scope.
Wherever she’s at a competition, including recently at the recent KWPN Championships for Young Horses, Be My Baby’s sheer talent always attracts admiring glances. The five year old mare already has an impressive competition track record that includes many wins and placings in young horse classes.
Her pedigree is equally impressive. Sire, Azteca VDL, unites some of the leading European sport horse breeding stallions’ bloodlines, including the two successful stud and competition stallions Indoctro I and Marlon. The dam, Siancara VDL is also famous for her own performance in the show jumping ring. Azteca VDL’s first offspring, one of which is Expresso (Robert Whitaker), are already successful international sport horses. His sire Indoctro’s offspring are top breeding and sport horses, many of them familiar names around the world, so there’s no question about his quality as a stallion. They include Olympic horse Vedor (Julia Hargreaves), Casadora (Lauren Hough), Valentino Velvet (Alexander Onischenko), Indigo (Margie Goldstein-Engle) and What Exclusive (Gert Jan Bruggink).
The dam’s sire Murano, who also competed in advanced level classes and is descended from top breeding stallion Burggaaf, produced Udokus (Michael Whitaker) and What-Ever (Jur Vrieling/Mattias Tromp). Grand-sire Raimond is most famous for his exceptional son Ramiro. Raimond’s genes are passed on through his daughters’ dam lines, and many of them can be found in modern pedigrees, such as Casall’s.
Follow your heart.
Be My Baby has a great competition career ahead of her.
