9. ALL YOU NEED
All You Need is a handsome four year old sports horse with a top bloodline. The fact that his pedigree justifies all the future hopes for him is proven by full brother VDL Glasgow vh Merelsnest, Grand Prix and Nations Cup winner with Jur Vrieling, and his full sisters Edjaz van’t Merelsnest (Ward de Bie) and Koblenz van’t Merelsnest (Taizo Sugitani).
All You Need’s sire is Nabab de Reve, one of the most successful jumping horse breeding stallions in the world and an excellent representative of a generation of stallions that have proven themselves in world-class equestrian sports and produced offspring that do the same. Philippe Lejeune won a bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games with Nabab de Reve, as well as diverse other international placings. Successful Nabab progeny include:
Ensor de Litrange Lxii (Lorenzo de Luca), Vigo d’Arsouilles (Philippe Lejeune), Glock’s London (Gerco Schörder), Valentina van’t Heike (Jos Lansink), Couscous van Orti (Samuel Parot), Walnut de Muze (Harrie Smolders ) and the stallion Kashmir van’t Schuttershof (Philippe Lejune).
All You Need’s dam is also a top show jumper called Wendelina van’t Merelsnest. She and her rider Marc van Dijck have won classes up to 1.50m and she is full sister to Sapphire (McLain Ward). The dam’s sire Darco has more than 3000 offspring, many of them active competition horses. In fact, he is currently one of the most proliferate show jumping horse producers. He also had a great show jumping career with his rider Ludo Philippaerts. Now his offspring are following in his footsteps. They include:
H&M Forever d’Arco ter Linden (Nicola Philippaerts), Winningmood (Luciana Diniz), Sapphire (McLain Ward), Socrates (Edwina Alexander), HH Copin van de Broy (Quentin Judge) and Narcotique de Muze (Eric Lamaze). Hedjaz in the third generation is also the dam sire of Otterongo, who came fourth at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000.
Not only does All You Need have a dream pedigree, he’s also a very willing and even tempered horse that learns quickly and is a pleasure to ride. It’s already obvious, when you see his talent and scope over jumps, that he’s just as good as his ancestors.
This gelding has already been competed at shows, winning two young horse classes for four year olds in Belgium and placed on several occasions. All You Need is now ready for the next higher class for his age group.
A top pedigree, a gentleman under the saddle, a positive attitude and competition experience – this is a very attractive future prospect!
All You Need has everything the rider needs!
