Always on the Move… New Talents and “Old” Friends

There is hardly ever a dull moment at our stables, and even though summer is slowly coming to an end and the first signs of autumn are beginning to show, there is still plenty going on. At home, training continues at full speed, with our young horses being carefully developed and prepared step by step for the challenges ahead. At the same time, the selection process for this year’s auction collection is in full swing. We are travelling throughout Germany and abroad, always searching for THOSE special young horses that have that certain something. And there is plenty of progress at home as well: the extension of our indoor arena is moving forward, with something new taking shape almost every day.

Of course, we also love following the careers of our former horses. Their successes continue to make us proud and provide us with fresh motivation. After all, this is exactly what our work is all about: discovering special horses, recognising their potential and ultimately bringing together the right horse-and-rider combinations.

  • Last Sunday, Flaubert du Busson and Hannes Ahlmann gave us plenty to celebrate. With two clear rounds, the pair finished an excellent fifth in the CSI3* Grand Prix at Wierzbna Biały Las.
  • The only eight-year-old Victory Music (2023 auction horse) once again impressed under Janika Sprunger with strong performances in the CSI3* classes. After finishing eighth in a 1.40m class, the pair also secured an excellent ninth place in a 1.45m competition.
  • Incanto VDL (2022 auction horse) has been enjoying an impressive run of success as well. Together with Yuri Mansur, he won the CSI3* Grand Prix in Lier last week. Just a few weeks earlier, the pair had already claimed victory in the CSI2* Grand Prix in Valkenswaard. Two Grand Prix victories within just three weeks... that speaks for itself!
