The Best News of the Week to Finish: Dior EP and Laurens Win the Grand Prix
The weekend could hardly have ended on a better note: Laurens and Dior EP won the Grand Prix of the Pro Tour Sunny Days in Peelbergen! Laurens competed successfully with several of our horses in Peelbergen last weekend. The absolute highlight was his victory with the eight-year-old grey gelding Dior EP, a 2025 auction horse. In Saturday afternoon’s 1.45m Grand Prix, the pair delivered two impressive clear rounds to secure a well-deserved win. And that was not all: Dark Grey (12-year-old by Diacasall) also remained clear in both rounds and completed the fantastic result with second place in the Grand Prix. Earlier, the twelve-year-old gelding had already finished tenth in a 1.40m two-phase class. Capoen Blue (seven-year-old by Conthargos) once again showed plenty of promise, earning placings in 1.30m and 1.35m classes. In addition, several of our young horses delivered clear rounds and presented themselves extremely well throughout the weekend. Petros also enjoyed successful rounds, going clear with both Nabelesta (eight-year-old by Grand Slam) and his own horse Idefix del Laghetto.
Successful “EP” horses in Poland as well
Dior EP was not the only horse carrying the “EP” suffix to give us reason to celebrate this weekend. At the CSI3* Wierzbna Biały Las in Poland, several of our former horses, now owned by Euro Power sarl, achieved great results:
- Seven-year-old Dancer EP (2025 auction horse) won a Youngster Tour class with Bart Bles. The pair also delivered another impressive clear round in a further young horse class, once again underlining their excellent development.
- Hot Stuff EP (2021 auction horse) finished eighth in a 1.30m CSI3* class.
- Supreme EP (2023 auction horse) was also in excellent form. The chestnut gelding and Bart Bles finished seventh in a 1.40m class before producing another clear round in the 1.45m Longines Ranking class to secure fourth place.
Congratulations to all riders and owners of these wonderful horses!
