14. Kiss me

All the perfect ingredients for a love affair.

Kiss Me has beautiful conformation, great lines and lots of charisma. This mare is perfectly built with ideal basic paces. She’s a very talented horse with a generous jump, an excellent technique and an amazing canter. This Oldenburg-bred mare also has a very sweet temperament and excellent ridability.

Her sire Lloyd George was the undisputed champion stallion at the southern German licensing test in Munich in 2013, and Lloyd George's sire Landprinz was licensed on the basis of his competition performance at national and international shows. The dam sire Cassini I and Franke Sloothaak were one of the most successful international show jumping duos for many years and he is the most coveted of Capitol I’s progeny as a breeding stallion. Kiss Me’s dam Qualle has competed and been highly placed in 1.40m classes this season with Alexa Stais. The dam sire Quintero, ‘one of the best Holstein jumping stallions of recent years’ enjoyed a glittering international career with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Quintero was such a spectacular performer in Grand Prix classes, Nations Cups and World Cups that he had a massive fan base. In Germany he has produced an impressive number of top sport horses, including BMC Quality Time TN (Jeroen Dubbeldam), Quintana Roo (Johannes Ehning/ Nicole Persson) and Breitling LS la Silla (Beezie Madden). Cellestial produced many successful offspring and competed at top international level with world class riders such as Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, René Tebbel and Andre Thieme. His sire, Cantus, is another top breeding stallion with many top-level show jumpers among his progeny.

Kiss Me has come to us from her breeder. In the ring the five year old youngster demonstrates consistent rhythm from start to finish and always listens to her rider. Six of this mare’s registered placings in young horse classes 1.10m to 1.30m are wins and three are second places. That’s a pretty impressive success rate.
