Pedigree

Timeless beauty in the shape of a beautiful black stallion.

This magnificent young sport horse‘s pedigree boasts the blood of world champions.

Vigo d'Arsouilles is an impressive stallion uniting the valuable genes of Nabab de Reve and Fleuri de Manoir. In 2010 he won a gold medal at the World Equestrian Games with Philippe Le Jeune, and he also represented Belgium on numerous occasions in championships and Nations Cups. He has competed successfully over some of the world’s most challenging tracks. Vido d’Arsouilles passes on his unique qualities to his offspring, many of which have been exceptionally successful horses. They include Irenice Horta (Cian O’Connor), Golden Hawk (Shane Breen), Ego van Orti (Edwina Tops-Alexander), Vagabond de la Pomme (Pénélope Leprévost), Go Easy de Muze (Darragh Kenny), Sterrehof’s Ushi (Julia Houtzager- Kayser) and Fair Light Van't Heike (Alberto Zorzi). Fakir de Kreisker and Galoubet contribute interesting Selle Francais blood to the pedigree. Galoubet was a notable sire and competition horse that never failed to perform spectacularly at shows. He won a gold medal at the WEG, and has also won numerous Nations Cups and Grand Prixs. Baloubet du Rouet (Rodrigo Pessoa), Taloubet Z (Christian Ahlmann) and Quick Star (Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum) are progeny of his that have gone down in equestrian sport history.

Black Bird demonstrated his ridability and jumping talent week after week throughout the entire season. He also qualified for the Belgian Young Horse Championship final, where he didn't disappoint.

There’s no doubt that Black Bird is a future champ!
