First class, top quality, absolutely amazing.

Five star rating.

We’re celebrating a premiere at this year’s auction with this thoroughbred-type, athletic gelding. He’s the first Grand Prix horse to be included in the collection response to popular demand.

Five Star is a fantastic horse that has already made a name for himself in the equestrian world. He has the scope to effortlessly clear jumps, is unquestioningly willing, agile and intelligent. These are all qualities that horses needs to cope with today’s technically challenging courses. If he gets a bit close for take-off, his lightning-fast foreleg helps him clear the jump with ease. And if he takes off wide, his powerful hind-leg rockets him over the jump, whatever the height. He’s exceptionally flexible, clever and willing, but his flagship quality is his enormous jump. This formidable sport horse can be piloted around a Grand Prix course by any rider.

The handsome bay has already proven himself to be a consistent Grand Prix horse with a squeaky-clean competition track record that boasts top placings in CSI2* Grand Prix Level, as well as international placings plus numerous clear rounds in CSI3* classes up to 1.55m.  All the rider has to do is get onto this nine-year-old gelding, canter into the ring and collect world ranking list points on the way to five-star level.

Five Star’s pedigree has a five-star rating.

Kannan is the only breeding stallion in the world to have been continuously in WBFSH top ten since 2010. In 2021, for the second time in succession, he was named the world’s best breeding stallion for young horses. The scope, careful jump and performance genes he passes on to his sons and daughters makes him one of the world’s leading sires. He has also inspired the international show jumping world with his performances and qualities in top-level classes.

The dam, Donnalina, has a bloodline that has produced many top sport horses, including Incanto. Damsire Indoctro needs no further introduction. He’s one of the best sires in the world and Capitol I’s most significant descendent outside Germany. Indoctro has produced a whole herd of top-calibre sport horses that compete at both international and Olympic level.
