The countdown is on: Entries are now officially open for the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters 2026, taking place from 23–26 July at Holger Hetzel’s renowned equestrian centre in Goch, Germany.
Widely recognised as one of Europe's premier events for young jumping horses, the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters offers an unrivalled opportunity for riders, owners and breeders to showcase promising talent on an international stage.
€200,000 in prize money – unmatched in Europe
The 2026 edition once again sets new standards with a total prize fund of €200,000 across all finals.
Prize money distribution:
- 5-year-old Final: €25,000
- 6-year-old Final: €50,000
- 7- & 8-year-old Final: €100,000
- Grand Tour Final (older horses): €25,000
The event welcomes horses from all studbooks as well as riders from around the world. International riders are warmly welcome. The organising team will gladly take care of the complete entry process, including guest licences where required, ensuring a straightforward and hassle-free participation. A simple and proven format
The concept of the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters remains straightforward and rider-friendly: horses in their respective age categories qualify for the finals by jumping two clear rounds in the qualifying competitions, designed by renowned course designer Peter Schumacher.
