Great rounds at CSI Opglabbeek

Last weekend a part of our team competed at CSI Opglabbeek. The show ground is amazing and has top quality. Even the weather was not very nice (or better: it was cold and raining), our horses made us very happy: the young ones showed improvements, the experienced confirmed their shape and the new ones convinced us with amazing rounds:

I  rode the nine year old gelding Chacco Mo (by Chacco Blue) for the first time and he jumped quiet amazing at his first international show. After a fourth place in a 1.35m class of the CSI2* I also jumped him in a 1.40m and a 1.45m class and I was really impressed of his performances. Diacco Blue (by Diarado) jumped also very well and gave me a positive feeling in the international classes. Legioner was placed in a 1.40m and 1.45m class of the CSI2*.

Laura was also very satisfied with her horses: The seven year old mare Coco Chanel got placings in two international youngster classes. Cimbura finished tenth in a 1.40m class of the CSI2* and Quanita was also placed in an international class.

Our student Pia earned four placings in the CSI* classes with her horses Jolien and Last Minute. Especially the final on Sunday was great, when Pia qualified both horses for the jump- off. Laura Schenker was also more than happy with her horses: With Carlo (auction horse 2017) she was placed fourth, fifth and tenth in CSI* classes and Borman (acution horse 2018) finished seventh and ninth.

We’re looking forward to the next show: CSI Mannheim next weekend!
