“We are constantly searching for top-class horses, especially promising young horses, and we know how difficult they are to find. With our event, we aim to offer our participants as many opportunities as possible while providing owners, breeders, and sponsors with an optimized platform for sport and marketing.”

Special ranking “Youngster of the Year” offers attractive prize money for horse owners

The innovative partnership between these two top events once again creates a highly lucrative special ranking under the title “Youngster of the Year” for five- to seven-year-old show jumping horses bred in Germany. The finals of both events will be taken into account, with the top 25 horses per age category according to the German Equestrian Federation (FN) breeding regulations (ZVO) and performance regulations (LPO) §16.6 List 1 qualifying for the ranking. The horse with the highest combined score from both finals will earn the title “Youngster of the Year” in its respective age category. In the event of a tie, the result at the Al Shira’aa Bundeschampionate will decide the winner. Owners of the most successful horses will receive prize money of €2,500 for the best five-year-old, €5,000 for the best six-year-old, and €7,500 for the best seven-year-old horse. The award ceremony for the title winners will take place during the Al Shira’aa Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.
