HYBRID Auction

If you aren’t able to attend the auction you can watch the livestream on www.clipmyhorse.tv and bid online.

There are five steps in the online bidding process:

Step 1: Registration (create an online bidding account)

Register with the MennrathS auction company and create a customer account at www.mennraths.de/register. You can enter your data on this secure web page and then click on “Register”.

Step 2: Confirmation of email address

Once you have registered you will receive an email with a link. Click on the link to confirm your email address and registration.

Step 3: Register for the auction

After confirming your email address you can register to participate in the auction from your customer account. When you have registered to bid online at the auction the management has to verify your account. Once the account has been verified you will receive an email confirming that your account is activated for online bidding.

Step 4: Bid in the online auction

On the auction day you can login at www.mennraths.de by clicking on the login button and entering your email address and password. Click the green “Go to bid interface” button to join the auction and you will be automatically redirected to the bidding system. You can change the language settings at the top right of the page.

If you are logging in to the auction from a PC you will be able to watch the auctioneer live. You will also see the bids that are placed at the event – and the online bids, of course. On the bidding screen you can also see the amount of the current highest bid.

Before you can bid you have to activate the bidding button (padlock symbol). This extra process step provides additional protection for the bidder by reducing the chances of a bid being made accidentally. When you have activated the bidding button you can use it to bid in the auction. The bidding button always indicates the amount of your last bid.

After you have placed your bid you will see on the screen whether your bid has been accepted and if you are the highest bidder.

Step 5: You’re the highest bidder

If you are the highest bidder you will receive a confirmation email.
