Laura and Ava triumph against the magical backdrop of Vienna’s palace
The CSI5* of the Global Champions Tour in Vienna delivered an incomparable spectacle last weekend: show jumping at the very highest level, framed by the breathtaking backdrop of Schönbrunn Palace. The atmosphere in front of this historic stage was truly awe-inspiring and for our team, there were even more reasons and highlights that gave us goosebumps.
Laura competed in the U25 Tour with her mares Angel d’Or and Jet, delivering picture-perfect rounds against this magical backdrop. The highlight came with her victory in the first qualifier of the U25 Tour: when the German anthem played and Laura entered the prize-giving ceremony, it was a moment filled with pride and emotion; one of those unforgettable experiences. She also went on to secure an excellent second place in another demanding class.
Ava Ferch also created goosebump moments. With Quintessa Lox, the young rider won the Grand Prix of the U25 Tour (1.45m) on Sunday evening in front of a sold-out crowd. She also placed third and sixth in the qualifiers. In addition, riding Tendresse de la Vie Z, Ava finished ninth in the CSI* Grand Prix.
Two victories, by two riders, with two of our horses, all on a stage as unique and rare as this one.
