Laura and Jet finish third in the Longines ranking class

Our team enjoyed a highly successful weekend at the CSIO3* in Peelbergen. Jet certainly lived up to her name, appearing to fly effortlessly around the demanding courses. Together with Laura, the mare once again demonstrated outstanding form in the Big Tour, delivering a series of impressive and confident performances. Our young riders also excelled on the international stage, gaining valuable experience while showcasing their talent with strong rounds and well-deserved placings. On Saturday, Laura and Jet produced a faultless round in the 1.50 m Longines Ranking class of the Big Tour, which also served as the qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix. With Jet's wellbeing in mind, Laura chose not to compete in the jump-off, yet still secured an excellent third place. Only four of the 74 starters managed to complete the demanding first round without a single fault.

The pair also impressed in the 1.55 m Grand Prix, delivering another outstanding performance. A single rail prevented them from qualifying for the jump-off. Riding the nine-year-old Rushmore (by Diktator van de Boslandhoeve), Laura also claimed fourth place in a 1.40 m Two-Phase competition.

  • Johanna Hell and her successful partner Design du Mas Garnier secured placings in two CSI* Big Tour classes. Riding Most Wanted, she also finished ninth in a Medium Tour competition.
  • Jenna Gilchrist (NAM) and Negroni (auction horse 2025) delivered a series of promising performances in the CSI* Tour.
  • Representing South Africa, Tamara Rueda gained valuable experience in the CSIO3* Big Tour with Callaho Liantos, producing a number of confident and consistent rounds.
