Laura and Jet V impress at the German Championships

The Balve Optimum at Schloss Wocklum, the traditional venue of the German Show Jumping and Dressage Championships, once again provided top-class sport against a unique backdrop. Laura and Laurens were in excellent form throughout the event, leaving a strong impression with their horses.

Jet V (12-year-old mare by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) and Laura delivered outstanding performances in the demanding classes of the German Ladies’ Show Jumping Championships. They started their campaign with a clear round in the first qualifier, finishing ninth in the 1.50m class. In Saturday’s exciting final, the pair produced two textbook rounds in front of thousands of spectators in the impressive main arena. Another placing secured them an excellent 12th place overall in the championship standings.

The other horses from the stable also performed exceptionally well:

  • Capoen Blue (7-year-old by Conthargos) jumped a clear round in the Youngster Tour, confirming his continuous development.
  • Chaletto Cool PS (8-year-old by Chacoon Blue, Auction Horse 2025) and Laura demonstrated their great potential with a faultless round in the 1.45m Ranking class.
  • Dior EP (8-year-old, Auction Horse 2025) and Laurens delivered an impressive clear round in the CSI2* 1.45m Ranking class.
  • Hot Stuff EP (10-year-old by Hickstead White) and Laurens finished seventh in the CSI2* 1.40m class. In Saturday evening’s Championat of Balve, a 1.45m Ranking class, the pair once again produced a fantastic performance, with only a single rail preventing qualification for the jump-off.
