Laura impresses at the LONGINES Global Champions Tour show in Riesenbeck

Last weekend, Laura competed at the LONGINES Global Champions Tour of Riesenbeck, taking part in both the CSI2* and Young Horse classes as well as the German U25 Championships. Surrounded by top-class competitors, demanding courses, and the unique setting of Riesenbeck, she delivered highly focused, textbook rounds and her horses also impressed with outstanding performances. Laura crowned her U25 years with another remarkable success by finishing sixth overall in the German Championships.

In the opening qualifier of the German U25 Championships (an 1.45m speed class), Laura and the eleven-year-old mare Jet (by Otangelo) produced a confident, faultless round to take ninth place. In the challenging 1.50m final, the pair once again showcased their potential. With two concentrated performances and Jet jumping superbly, they were rewarded with a fantastic sixth place in the overall standings; a brilliant result to mark Laura’s final U25 Championship.

The eight-year-old Emerite de Kergoet Z (by Emerald) also drew plenty of attention in the demanding Youngster Tour classes. Full of confidence and unfazed by the impressive atmosphere, he completed his tasks on both sand and grass arenas with textbook ease, showing all his qualities under Laura. After two clear rounds in the qualifiers, the gelding stayed faultless in the 1.45m final round as well, placing tenth in a strong international field.

With Angel D’Or (thirteen years old, by Askari), Laura also claimed a fine third place in a 1.40m CSI2* class.
