Longines Balve Optimum 2023: A highlight for our team

Laura, Laurens and I competed very successful at the LONGINES Balve Optimum 2023:

Helwell du Chabus (10yo by Elvis ter Putte) was clear in all three classes she competed in. After great rounds in 1.40m and 1.45m classes of the CSI2*, the mare finished seventh in the 1.45m Championat of Balve.

Crazy for you de Tiji Z (7yo by Cornet Obolensky) showed promising clears in the international Youngster Tour

Laura made her debut at her first Senior Championship: Aboard Angel d’Or (11yo by Askari) she competed at the German Championship Jumping Ladies 2023 and rode exemplary rounds. In the first qualifier (1.50m) they finished tenth with just one time fault. In the second qualifier they had two light faults in front of an amazing scenery. But that doesn’t matter- we are more than happy and proud!

Freedom (7yo by v. Ultimo, auction horse 2022) and Laura placed sixth in the final of the Youngster Tour.

 

Chapeau (9yo by Balou du Rouet, auction horse 2022) was ridden by Laurens and showed her amazing qualities in all classes with wonderful clears at 1.40m and 1.45m level. In the 1.45m Championat of Balve, the most difficult class the mare ever jumped, they got the eleventh rank

Verdi’s Adel (9yo by Verdi) was clear in two 1.40m classes of the CSI2*

Qastaar van’t Heike (7yo by Epleaser van’t Heike, auction horse 2021) won a class of the Youngster Tour and placed sixth in a second Youngster Class
