One weekend in Munich

To make a long story short: I really, really like the show in Munich. The atmosphere of the show is unique: For four straight days Pferd International Munich, southern Germany’s largest equine festival, offers nothing short of the highest level of competition, and a continuous top caliber performance from within the horse world is expected. The traditional show ground is unbelievable, the 70.000 visitors are enthusiast and the conditions for riders and horses are wonderful. The sun was shining all days and especially on Sunday afternoon during the Grand Prix atmosphere was breath-taking.

My horses jumped fantastically well and gave me a super feeling in the challenging classes:

  • Helwell Du Chabus (10yo Elvis ter Putte) was clear in a 1.40m class of the CSI3*
  • Crazy for You de Tiji Z (7yo Cornet Obolensky) got a placing in the international Youngster Tour for 7 and 8- yo horses and was also clear in the final. The gelding showed all his skills and jumped everything with a great attitude and quality
  • Lazio showed also a brilliant round in the 1.55m Grand Prix of Bayern yesterday. We had one easy fault, but that doesn’t minimize my happiness about his performance
