Our 16th Sport Horses Sales has been cancelled
We invested a great deal of time and effort into the preparations for our 16th Sport Horse Sales, which would have taken place in a hybrid format combining the live event and an online auction. The aim was to give customers the chance to participate in the auction despite all the coronavirus restrictions. Unfortunately, the new lockdown has made this impossible. We decided to cancel this year’s event because part of what makes it so unique and successful is the personal interaction with our customers.
Over the past 16 years our sport horse sales has evolved into a wonderful event with all the excitement of an auction in a very special setting. Our main objective is to engage with and advise our customers in person, which hasn’t always been possible in this pandemic situation. For that reason a pure online auction is not an option for us because it doesn’t reflect our concept.
And now for the good news:
Our customers still have the opportunity to buy the carefully selected, premium quality horses in the 2020 auction collection. You can find a presentation of the horses on our website at https://www.holger-hetzel.com/collection. Try-out appointments can still be arranged despite the current restrictions. All the necessary hygiene precautions will be taken. The horses are available for purchase between Monday November 16, 2020 and the originally scheduled auction date of November 21, 2020.
I’m excited to have found another selection of genuinely top quality horses again this year. They’ve proven their unique qualities over and over again during the physical and Face Time try-outs for customers in Germany and overseas. Now that a vaccine has been developed, we’re optimistic that we’ll be able to host another fantastic auction event for our customers next year.
