Our Young Horses Shine at the Home Show

While Laura and Laurens were busy helping behind the scenes wherever support was needed during the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters, they also enjoyed great success in the arena. Our young horses were in outstanding form, delivering numerous clear rounds, top placings and a podium finish, once again confirming the quality and consistency of the training at Hetzel Horses.

• Capoen Blue EQ (7-year-old by Conthargos) produced two fantastic clear rounds in the qualifiers for the seven- and eight-year-old horses and finished tenth in a highly competitive class.
• Dark Grey (12-year-old by Diacasall) and Laurens claimed an excellent sixth place in the Open Tour Final, a 1.45m class.
• Golden Earing (5-year-old by Cello vd Bisschop), affectionately known as "Goldi", truly shone in the final for the five-year-old horses. After two brilliant clear rounds in both the first round and the jump-off, the talented youngster secured an outstanding third place in the 1.25m final.
• Harley EP (6-year-old by Harley VDL) was placed in the first qualifier for the six-year-old horses (1.30m) and finished eighth in the second final qualifier. The talented grey also impressed in the final, producing another superb performance to finish ninth.
• Hot Stuff EP (10-year-old by Hickstead White) earned a strong third place in a demanding Open Tour class.
• Quicktani (6-year-old by Quickthago VDL) and Laura delivered a beautiful clear round to finish sixth in the first qualifier for the six-year-old horses (1.25m). They also rewarded themselves with another placing in the final after another consistent performance.
