This one will set hearts aflutter. Because she’s one of a kind.

Herzbeben is an impressive sport horse with fantastic prospects, a performance horse pedigree and a track record in young horse classes that points towards an international future. We first discovered how special this horse is at our first jumping trials back in February, and we knew then that we had to have her in the collection. Her international career has since taken off and she’s been the talk of the equestrian experts at all of her international appearances. Despite enquiries from potential buyers all over the world, we’ve kept Herzbeben for this year’s Sport Horse Sales.

She has a national and international competition record with more than 30 placings and she’s proven her consistency with a 75% clear round quota in international classes. After numerous placings in international youngster tour competitions, including speed rounds in jump offs, Herzbeben is now ready for top-level show jumping.

This sport horse will jump anything asked of her, however high, and she puts her body to perfect use in the process. Athletically built, this eye-catchingly elegant six year old horse is always careful and quick footed over jumps. She has phenomenal dynamics and scope over jumps, plus a fascinating technique and perfect bascule.

Herzbeben is a future hopeful with a first-rate pedigree. Her athletic build is obviously inherited from her sire, Thunder van de Zuuthoeve, international jumping partner of Jan Van Dijck for many years, with Grand Prix placings. He unites the world-famous genes of Argentinus and Nimmerdor, two of the world’s most influential sires and producers of some exceptionally successful sport horses. Thunder van de Zuuthoeve, one of the Belgian jumping horse breeding scene’s best stallions, has numerous offspring creating a stir on the competition circuit, including Domingo (Daniel Deusser), HH Azur (McLain Ward), Domino (Jos Verlooy), Eldorado van het Vijverhof (Gregory Wathelet) and Gloria van Zuuthoeve (Matthew Sampson).

Herzbeben’s dam Duellinde demonstrated impressive versatility as a successful jumping and dressage horse. The dam sire Lambada van Berkenbroek by Holstein sport horse producer Levantos I also sired Ekina van het Ruiterhof (Elin Ott).

A mare with the ability and attitude to be a championship horse.

She’s got the whole equestrian scene buzzing.
