Dior – Youngster of the Year 2025

A top performer with an aristocratic name and impressive looks, Dior is a seven-year-old grey Holstein sport horse that combines the best noble blood with an athletic build. He’s the epitome of elegance and class. Handsome in type, he has an expressive physique, excellent conformation and a natural lightness that benefits both himself and his rider, especially over jumps. Dior is a real gentleman under the saddle and his jumping style is a rare lesson in elegance: harmonious bascule, suppleness, impressive flexibility and seemingly unlimited scope. All these attributes destine Dior to reach the top echelons of international Grand Prix sport.

His pedigree marries some of the best European bloodlines for modern show jumping horses: Diamant de Semilly x Corrado x Lord, three legendary breeding stallions that have sired generations of champions.

Dior is already writing sporting history with his exceptional competition scorecard and impressive consistency. He has won rosettes at international CSI2* competitions in classes up to 1.40m and been highly placed in national competitions up to 1.45m. 70% of all his international starts were clear rounds. There have been several outstanding milestones, such as third place in the seven-year-olds’ final at the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters 2025 and fourth place in the seven-year-olds’ final at the Al Shira'aa Bundeschampionate 2025. The absolute highlight of the season was the Youngster of the Year 2025 title, which confirms this horse’s exceptional standing among peers. On balance, it’s clear that Dior delivers results. He is ready for the challenges of major international competitions and is showing all the hallmarks of a future Grand Prix horse.
