Exceptionally young. Exceptionally successful.

This chestnut mare is a rare talent. Emma Cocco Jazz combines enormous courage, limitless willingness to perform and impressive scope with a degree of natural confidence that is truly exceptional for a five-year-old. She is a genuine powerhouse: focused in her work and always ready to give everything in the ring. Height seems almost irrelevant to her. With extraordinary explosive power, flexibility and lightness, she makes substantial fences look easy and consistently gives the impression that there is still plenty left in reserve. Her mental strength is equally remarkable. Emma Cocco Jazz behaves in the ring like an experienced professional: brave, uncomplicated, composed and self-assured. This likeable mare has the work ethic and performance mentality one could hardly ask for more of in a future top-level horse. At present, the only thing she lacks for the biggest tasks is age.

Her pedigree is equally impressive: Emerald van’t Ruytershof x Van Helsing x Wanderbursch.

Her record for a five-year-old is remarkable: twelve international Youngster Tour victories, plus further international placings. She has also recorded wins and placings in national young-horse classes abroad and first placings in German young-horse competitions. At the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters, the world’s highest-endowed showjumping event for young horses, she finished eighth in the final for five-year-old showjumpers after two fantastic rounds. The result confirms exactly what she communicates under saddle: a very special sport horse is developing here.

Five years old, twelve international wins and her whole future still ahead. Emma Cocco Jazz: when winning becomes a habit.
