19. PORTOFINO

Simply ride. Simply enjoy.

Portofino is a seven-year-old Holsteiner gelding who gives his rider a pleasant and secure feeling from the very first moment. Consistent in his way of going, very careful over a fence and equipped with excellent overview, he possesses exactly the qualities one looks for in a reliable competition horse. He knows his job, thinks with his rider and remains pleasantly straightforward to ride. His rideability in particular makes Portofino a partner who is simply enjoyable: he quickly finds his rhythm, stays consistent in the contact and remains easy to adjust throughout a course. At the fence he is attentive and careful, keeps an excellent overview and gives his rider confidence through his routine. He is a well-rounded package for riders looking for a correctly produced sport horse that can be taken straight to the shows.

By United Way x Con Air x Narew, Portofino carries proven Holsteiner performance blood. The pedigree perfectly reflects the qualities he himself displays in the ring: athleticism, carefulness and willingness to perform.

Portofino already has considerable competition experience. He has recorded numerous results in young-horse classes up to 1.25m. Different courses and competition environments are familiar territory, and he presents himself with corresponding composure both in the warm-up and in the ring. Portofino is a well-produced, experienced young sport horse who is ready for immediate competition use.
