Placings in the Grand Prix's of Donaueschingen

The international show in Donaueschingen was just amazing:

Legioner jumped fantastically well and placed tenth in the 1.50m class of the big tour at CSI3* Donaueschingen. Yesterday in the challenging Grand Prix he qualified in the first round (1.60m) and finished sixth after a great jump- off. This was the third Grand Prix placing for my 15yo sports partner in a row and I’m more than happy with his performance. Diacco Blue jumped also amazing on the grass arena and was clear in a 1.40m class of the CSI3* tour.

Laura rode her geldings Cimbura and Chacco Mo in the European- Youngster- Cup and showed exemplary rounds.  In the big final, a difficult 1.45m class, she finished fifth with  Chacco Mo.

Laurens showed amazing rounds on the beautiful show ground: With Carriano he got placings in the 1.35m and 1.40m class of the European Youngster Cups. Seven year old Hopeful Especial (by Vittorio), who saw such an amazing place for the first time, became ninth in a class of the youngster tour and finished fifth in the youngster tour final, a 1.40m class with jump- off.

Our students were also very successful:

  • Junior rider Alexia Apostolescu rode Avec Courage D’Amour in the final of the European Youngster Cups, a 1.45m class, and was happy with a great sixth rank.
  • Pia Maass was placed in every class she competed in: In the saddle of her mare Jolien she placed second in the final of the small amateur class and got two third ranks in the other two classes. With Last Minute she was placed third, seventh and twelfth.
  • Laura Schenker convinced with beautiful rounds in the international Amateur class: Carlo finished sixth and seventh and stallion Vivaldi got placings in all three classes.

Congratulations to all riders and owners and a big thank to the amazing grooms Julia and Claire.
