Strong Performances at the German Youth Championships in Zeiskam
Last weekend, Germany’s best young riders competed at the German Youth Championships in Zeiskam. We were delighted to cheer on our student Johanna as well as several horses with their young riders. With great rounds, qualifications for the finals and strong placings, they all delivered impressive performances throughout the weekend.
We are particularly proud of our student Johanna Hell and her trusted partner Design du Mas Garnier. Competing in her first German Junior Championship, Johanna got off to a promising start with a clear round in the first qualifier, an S* speed class, followed by another good performance in the second qualifier to secure her place in the final. There, Johanna and Design du Mas Garnier mastered the demanding S** competition over two rounds with two great performances and were rewarded with a placing. They finished their first German Junior Championship in an excellent 20th place overall – an achievement Johanna can be very proud of and one that makes us excited about her future development. A big thank you once again goes to Christine, who trained and coached Johanna throughout the championship. With her wealth of experience, calm approach and great empathy, she plays an important role in Johanna’s development.
Luna Zoe Schröder and Galatee Dark also enjoyed a fantastic weekend. Following a strong start in the first qualifier, they delivered a confident clear round in the second S* qualifier to finish eleventh and secure their place in the final. There, Luna and Galatee Dark produced two excellent rounds and finished third in the class. Their outstanding performances earned them a sensational fourth place overall in the German Junior Championship. Congratulations on this fantastic result!
Ava Ferch and Tendresse de la Vie Z also showed great form in Zeiskam. Two convincing rounds in the qualifiers earned them a well-deserved place in the final, where they finished eleventh. In the overall German Junior Championship standings, the pair secured a very respectable 16th place.
