Successful Bundeschampionat: Our Youngsters shine in Warendorf

For six days, Warendorf became the center stage of Germany’s most talented young horses: at this year’s Bundeschampionat, held under perfect late-summer weather conditions, the very best young horses in the country came together to compete. In this unique and colorful setting, Laurens showcased our horses brilliantly in front of a large crowd, with our youngsters impressing the judges and spectators alike by demonstrating outstanding rideability, quality, and composure.
- Dior (by Diamant de Semilly) delivered a fantastic performance in the first qualifier for the seven-year-old show jumpers, an 1.40m class, producing a flawless clear round to finish in 12th place. In the Final, the grey gelding once again displayed his tremendous scope and exceptional rideability, staying clear in both the first round and the jump-off of the 1.45m class. Dior was rewarded with an outstanding 4th place in the Final and was honored as the “Horse of the Year” among the seven-year-olds.
- Capoen Blue (by Conthargos) impressed in a six-year-old young horse class at 1.30m level, earning a strong 8.5 score and finishing 5th.
- Complication (by Casco Bravo) delivered a beautiful, flawless round in an 1.20m young horse class, which also served as a Final qualifier for the six-year-olds, scoring an excellent 8.8 and claiming the runner-up position.
- Clarella (by Clarimo) received a remarkable 9.0 score from the judges in the second qualifier for the five-year-olds, securing 2nd place. In the Final, the talented mare once again kept her cool despite the impressive atmosphere and placed in the 1.20m class*.
