Successful Show weekend by the Baltic Sea: Laura and Laurens shine in Hohen Wieschendorf
Set against a maritime backdrop, the DKB Pferdewoche in Hohen Wieschendorf once again proved to be a true highlight in the competition calendar. Hosted on the beautifully maintained grounds of Enno Glanz – known throughout the north as the “Strawberry King” – riders, horses, and spectators enjoyed a first-class event on the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For Laura and Laurens, it was a great honor to be part of this wonderful event:
-
Capoen Blue (six-year-old by Conthargos) impressed in the international Youngster Tour with Laurens, delivering fantastic rounds: clear on day one, and faultless again in the second young horse class. The pair also completed the 1.30m final for six-year-olds with another confident clear round.
-
Hot Stuff (nine-year-old by Hickstead White) jumped a flawless round in a 1.40m CSI2* class.
-
Jet (eleven-year-old by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) and Laura made their debut as a team in the German U25 Tour. They placed second in the warm-up, a two-phase class at 1.45m, and delivered another clear round to place in the first qualifier. In the 1.50m final, they finished fifth – a strong result for their first outing together.
-
Verdi’s Adel (eleven-year-old by Verdi) and Laurens delivered an impressive clear round in the 1.45m CSI4* class.
