Successful Weekend at Pferd International in Munich

We’re looking back on a truly outstanding weekend – both in terms of sport and atmosphere: Laura and Laurens competed with our horses at the prestigious Pferd International in Munich and impressed across the board. In front of the spectacular setting of the Olympic grounds in Munich-Riem, thousands of spectators, and an electric atmosphere, our horses delivered fantastic performances in the CSI3* classes. With beautifully ridden rounds and remarkable composure, Laura and Laurens stood out in the demanding courses.

The absolute highlight: Laurens and Whipper Snapper delivered a brilliant performance in the CSI3 Grand Prix of Bavaria*, securing a top-five finish in this world-ranking class. Our team’s success in Munich didn’t stop there:

  • Flaubert du Busson (10yo by Eldorado de Hus) jumped two clear rounds in the CSI1* and placed fourth in the Grand Prix after a double clear.

  • Jet (11yo by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) and Laura finished fourth in a 1.40m CSI3 class*, showing great form.

  • Maggie Mae (8yo by Casall) impressed throughout the weekend: with consistent, confident rounds, she earned ribbons in all three starts. Laura piloted her to 4th and 5th place finishes in young horse classes and a placing in the Youngster Tour Final.

  • Metropolitan (8yo by Glennfiddich) and Laurens delivered a clear round and finished fifth in a Youngster Tour class, and jumped another faultless round in a further international class for eight-year-olds.

  • Verdi’s Adel (11yo by Verdi) impressed with a phenomenal round in the 1.50m group class of the CSI3*, earning a well-deserved placing.

  • Whipper Snapper VDL (9yo by Zirocco Blue) was on outstanding form all weekend, with a 100% placing rate. The talented gelding and Laurens jumped to fifth place in the 1.55m CSI3 Grand Prix* in front of a breathtaking crowd, and also placed in a 1.40m opening class and a 1.50m international class.
