Successful weeks in Lanaken and Peelbergen

The shows in Lanaken and Peelbergen are great opportunities for my horses, my pupils and also for me to prepare for the outdoor season, so we have been there with most of our team, plus a hoard of horses and pupils. A two week competition tour with 30 horses is obviously a logistics challenge, but with an efficient and experienced team it’s easily done. Thank you, Team HH! The organizers of both shows put a lot of thought into the competition programme so that every rider has the chance to train and compete professionally under ideal conditions. We were very successful at both shows, last weekend Laurens, Pia, Laura, Ingemar, Selma and I competed at CSI Peelbergen while Tobi and Alena were in Lanaken. The youngsters captured public attention with their impressive rounds and all our riders and horses did very well in the different Tours:

My horses Daiana Blue (nine years old by Diarado), Diacco Blue (nine year old by Diarado) and Lepus jumped fantastically well and presented wonderful clear rounds. Laurens presented all horses beautiful and was more than happy with their performances:

  • Hopeful Especial (seven years old by Vittorio) beendete auch am zweiten Turnierwochenende alle Springen der internationalen Youngster Tour für siebenjährige Pferde fehlerfrei und konnte sich- u.a. im Finale mit Stechen- in die Platzierungslisten eintragen. Sieben von sieben Runden null!
  • Safira (seven years old by Stylist) was placed in an international youngster class and finished fifth in the Final with jump off
  • Peak Performance (eight years old by Azteca) completed her results list with a placing in a 1.35m class
  • Lepus (twelve years old by Lordanos) jumped also super and was placed in a 1.40m class of the CSI3* and Uno (eight years old by Up to Date) finished clear in a 1.35m class

Tobi competed successfully in Lanaken:

  • Golden Future MM (nine years old by U Darcor) was placed in a 1.40m class of the CSI3* and became fourth in a 1.45m class
  • J’Espere van ter Pamelen (ten years old by Calvados) finished fourth in a 1.50m class
  • Dante MM (eight years old by Diarado) jumped amazing and got placings in 1.35m and 1.40m classes
