Whipper Snapper and Laurens take third place in the ranking class

A successful weekend at the Balve Optimum lies behind Laura and Laurens. Both riders drew attention with strong performances and impressive rounds alongside their wonderful equine partners. Although Laura was unfortunately missing just that little bit of luck in the championship ranking to fully reward her confident performance, we are more than grateful for the valuable experience and the beautiful weekend at this outstanding event in the Sauerland.

  • Angel D’Or, a thirteen-year-old by Askari, and Laura impressed with a fantastic clear round in the 1.50m class, which also served as the first qualifier for the Ladies Championship.
  • Dior, a seven-year-old by Diamant de Semilly, delivered a beautiful clear round in one of the Youngster Tour classes.
  • Flaubert du Busson, a ten-year-old by Eldorado de Hus, and Laura completed a 1.45m world ranking class with a faultless round.
  •  Jet, an eleven-year-old by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, finished the first qualifier of the Ladies Championship – a 1.50m class – with just a time fault and also placed in the challenging final, a 1.50m class with two rounds
  •  Verdi’s Adel, an eleven-year-old by Verdi, delivered clear rounds in all three of his 1.40m starts in the CSI2*, confidently handling the height and earning two international placings.
  • Whipper Snapper VDL, a nine-year-old by Zirocco Blue, continued his streak of success with Laurens and delivered two fantastic rounds to finish a sensational third in the 1.45m Grand Prix of the CSI2* Balve. The powerful bay gelding also placed in a 1.45m world ranking class.
