Hey Macarena!

This mare has a proven track record after the 2019 season with 24 placings in the German Equestrian Federation’s competition register. She’s won 1.20m young horse classes with scores as high as 9.0 and been highly placed over 1.30m young horse tracks. Macarena has also competed in international youngster tours, and she was placed at CSIYH* Lanaken, CSIYH* Kronenberg and CSI* Opglabbeek with clear rounds in all the finals. She’s ready to compete internationally and move on to bigger tracks.

Macarena’s pedigree foretells an auspicious future as a competition horse. Her sire Astrello (Casantos x Ramiro) is winning big international classes with Russian riders Yahor Morotski and Vadim Cherevan.  Astrello’s sire Casantos is the son of Cantos, producer of exceptional jumping stock. Ramiro Z was the most popular representative of the Ramzes AA line in the world. During his time at stud in Westphalia, and later on at Zangersheide, he produced an impressive number of excellent quality offspring.  Macarena’s dam Engelien jumped international 1.55m tracks. Her sire Clinton was an international show jumping phenomenon with his rider Dirk Demeersman. He competed at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, won the Lummen Grand Prix and came second in the CHIO Aachen Grand Prix and the Aachen Nations Cup. When he retired from competition sport, Clinton by Corrado I took the breeding world by storm. Carthago is the undisputed most successful Holstein horse of all time, both as a show jumper with Jos Lansink and as a sire. Macarena is related to Cornet Obolensky (Marco Kutscher), Clintop (Daniel Deusser), Cordess (Christian Kukuk), Clinta (McLain Ward), Cash (Marco Kutscher) and Monodie (Elisabeth Meyer).

She’s an athletic mare with a big frame that has shown a positive attitude and been an amazingly easy ride right from day one. She’s clear headed, bold and answers every question confidently. Her potential is obvious over fences: she jumps effortlessly, carefully and with a great bascule.

This mare is the real deal!
