An unforgettable weekend lies behind us: Our student Ronnie finished second in the Grand Prix, securing his qualification for the WC, while all of our riders impressed with placings and clear rounds in highly competitive world ranking classes.

Thanks to Ronnie Healy, who has been training with his horses at our facility for several months while competing at shows across Europe, we had the pleasure of welcoming six talented young riders from South Africa and Zimbabwe last week.

The concluding three-star Grand Prix of the five-day Hetzel Spring Masters at the equestrian centre of Holger Hetzel in Goch came to an end on Sunday afternoon with a triumphant victory for Katrin Eckermann.

She knows the tournament inside out, knows her horses even better, and on Sunday claimed both first and second place in the Grand Prix of Vitakraft pet care at the Hetzel Spring Masters in Goch.

At the Hetzel Spring Masters, six teenagers from South Africa got their first taste of show jumping in Germany and watched Laura Hetzel and Laurens Houben in action in the arena.

It could turn into quite a run for the young Belgian Laurens Houben at this weekend’s Hetzel Spring Masters. But: the competition isn’t sleeping.

The qualification for the Bundeschampionate has already been secured at the Hetzel Spring Masters: a total of ten five-year-old show jumpers and nine six-year-olds have, in principle, booked their “ticket” to Warendorf this September.
