16. GOLDEN EARRING

An exceptional talent with golden prospects for the big sport.

As precious as his name suggests, this five-year-old chestnut gelding is a young horse of exceptional quality. Golden Earring combines modern type, sporting class and an outstanding temperament with a natural confidence rarely seen in a horse of this age. Over a fence he offers his rider everything required for future top-level sport: quality, scope, overview and the right attitude. In his case, superlatives are entirely appropriate. Golden Earring has little left to prove regarding his fundamental ability; what he needs now is simply time to grow older. His education has deliberately been age-appropriate and his competition schedule carefully managed. When presented with a new question, he is there, understands quickly and consistently gives the feeling that considerably more is still to come. He is the kind of youngster who already allows you to imagine how naturally the biggest tasks may one day come to him.

His pedigree is equally golden: Cello van de Bisschop Z x Clearway x Accord II combines international top sires from proven performance lines.

Despite his careful development, Golden Earring already has a remarkable record. He has five victories in international Youngster classes and a third place in an international Youngster Tour final. At the 2026 Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters, the world’s highest-endowed showjumping event for young horses, he delivered an especially convincing demonstration of his quality, finishing an excellent third in the 1.25m final for five-year-old showjumpers after impressive rounds in both the first round and jump-off. Golden Earring has everything one could ask for in a future top horse. This exceptional talent now needs one thing above all: time to grow into his enormous possibilities.

Golden Earring - a name that matches his prospects. Special today, perhaps priceless tomorrow.
