Last weekend, our equestrian facility was the stage for outstanding athletic performances and unforgettable moments.

Outstanding youngster, impeccable conditions, fully in line with the quality of the sport, a foal auction, polo action and a vibrant meeting point: once again, the Young Horse Masters set new standards, and it aims to continue doing so in the future.

The final for 7- and 8-year-old show jumping horses at the Hetzel Young Horse Masters, Europe’s highest-paying event for young jumpers, came to a thrilling close on Sunday afternoon with an exciting jump-off at Holger Hetzel’s equestrian centre.

The name didn't say it all: Complication-M is the name of the young Westphalian mare with which Belgian rider Laurens Houben won the final for six-year-old horses at the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters.

With the first qualifying class for five-year-olds on Thursday morning, the Tiemeyer x Hetzel Young Horse Masters – Europe’s highest prize-money show for young jumping horses – got underway at Holger Hetzel’s equestrian facility in Goch, Rhineland.

Once again this year, thanks to the generous support of Manuela and Uwe Schmitz as well as FRANKONIA Eurobau AG, the “Groom’s Award” will be presented.

We look back on a successful weekend of sport: Laura, Johanna, and our talented young riders from Doha delivered impressive rounds at CSI Peelbergen. Now, all eyes are on the upcoming Young Horse Masters – and preparations are in full swing!
